What This Policy Covers

Plasthetic.s is a small sculptural objects studio based in Istanbul, Turkey. When we refer to we, us, or our in this policy, we mean Plasthetic.s, the data controller for the information described below.

This policy covers plastheticstudio.com and the Shopify checkout flow it links to. It applies to anyone who visits the site, places an order, or subscribes to our newsletter. For privacy questions, write to hello@plastheticstudio.com.

What We Collect

When you place an order, we collect your name, email, shipping address, and phone number through Shopify checkout. Payment details are handled by the payment provider connected to Shopify. We never see or store your card information.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and your consent to receive it.

When you visit the site, our delivery and security provider Cloudflare processes basic technical data (IP address, browser type, request times) to keep the site online and protect it from abuse.

How We Use It

Order data is used to make and ship your piece, send you updates on production and delivery, issue receipts, and respond if you write to us.

Newsletter email is used only to send the newsletter, and only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter we send.

Technical logs are used for site delivery, security, and a basic understanding of traffic. We do not run advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or cross-site tracking.

Who Has Access

We share data only with the service providers we need to run the studio. Each of these processes data under its own privacy terms.

Shopify hosts our store, processes orders, and stores customer account data. Hostinger provides our email service at hello@plastheticstudio.com. Cloudflare handles site delivery, security, and basic analytics. Shipping carriers receive the address and phone number needed to deliver your order.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.

Your Rights

Under Turkey's KVKK and the EU GDPR, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you have given.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@plastheticstudio.com from the address connected to your order or subscription. We respond within thirty days. Some data may need to be retained where law requires it. See Retention below.

Cookies

We use functional cookies needed for the site and checkout to work, and Cloudflare sets basic cookies to tell humans from bots and keep the site stable.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Retention

Order and invoice records are kept for ten years, as required by Turkish tax and commercial law.

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Technical logs are kept for short periods by Cloudflare under their standard retention. On request, we delete what we are not legally required to retain.
