Where It Ships From

Every order ships from our studio in Beykoz, Istanbul. The same hands that finish the work pack it.

We do not warehouse stock or use third-party fulfilment. A piece leaves the studio when it is ready, and not before.

Production and Shipping Lead Time

Most pieces are made-to-order. Production takes 3 to 5 weeks from the day the order is placed: casting, curing, finishing, and signing each happen in their own time.

Shipping is on top of that. Once a piece is ready, domestic orders within Turkey arrive in 2 to 4 working days. EU and UK orders typically take 3 to 6 working days, US and rest-of-world 5 to 10.

A small number of pieces are ready-to-ship. Those leave the studio within 5 working days of the order.

How We Pack

Sculptural work is fragile by nature. Small pieces travel in moulded foam inside double-walled cartons. Larger or heavier works ship in foam-lined wooden crates with custom internal supports cut for that specific piece.

Where we can, we use recycled and recyclable materials. The crates are built to be opened without damage and kept, if you want to store the piece between moves.

Where We Ship

Within Turkey we ship via Yurtiçi Kargo or MNG, depending on the size of the piece.

To the EU, UK, and US we ship via DHL or UPS, fully tracked and insured.

Anywhere else, we ship by quote. Write to us at hello@plastheticstudio.com with your address and the piece you have in mind, and we will come back with a cost and a timeline. Larger or unusually fragile works may require freight rather than courier.

Taxes, Customs, and Duties

Prices for delivery within Turkey include VAT (KDV) at the applicable rate; your invoice reflects it.

For orders outside Turkey, import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. We declare the actual value of the work on the customs paperwork. We do not under-declare.

Customs in the destination country usually contacts the recipient directly to settle charges before delivery. Rates vary by country and we cannot estimate them in advance.

Damaged in Transit

If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, do not unpack it fully. Photograph the outer box and the packing as you find it, then email hello@plastheticstudio.com within 7 days of delivery with the order number and the photos.
