Warranty
Our objects are cast, finished, and signed by hand in Beykoz. The warranty below is our promise that, beyond the marks of making, the work will hold.
What We Cover
Every Plasthetic.s piece carries a one-year limited warranty against material and craft defects, beginning on the date of delivery.
Within that year, we will repair, refinish, or replace any object that fails under normal use: cracking that is not impact-related, finish lifting, pigment failure, or structural separation between materials.
If a piece cannot be brought back to its original state, we offer a replacement of the same edition where possible, or a full refund where it is not.
The Nature of Handmade Work
Each object carries the unique marks of its making. Slight variations in surface, pigment depth, fine air points in resin, soft tool lines in plaster, and the natural settling of pigmented epoxy are part of the work, not flaws.
Pieces that include wax, raw plaster, or unsealed surfaces are designed to evolve. Wax may melt and build up on the surface with use; plaster may soften in tone over time. This is intended and not covered as a defect.
What Is Not Covered
Damage caused by drops, impact, or accidents.
Wear from daily use, including small chips at edges, scuffs, and surface dulling over time.
Damage from improper care: exposure to direct sunlight for unsealed pieces, contact with solvents, harsh cleaners, or prolonged moisture.
Any alteration, refinishing, or repair carried out by someone other than the studio.
Care, Briefly
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water on raw plaster and any cleaning agent on pigmented epoxy or resin surfaces unless we have specified otherwise for your piece.
Each object ships with a short care note tied to its materials. Keeping that note nearby is the simplest way to protect both the piece and your warranty.
How to Make a Claim
Write to hello@plastheticstudio.com with your order number, a short description of the issue, and photographs of the piece in daylight.
We respond within a few working days with next steps. If a return to the studio is needed, we arrange shipping at our cost for covered claims.
Beyond the first year, write to us anyway. We consider every case on its own, and we would rather mend a piece than see it set aside.
Our work is meant to be lived with, not protected from life. If something has gone wrong, or you simply want guidance on caring for a piece, write to hello@plastheticstudio.com. The studio answers personally.
